Hemingway Daiquiri

Ingredients:

white rum, lime juice, grapefruit juice, maraschino liqueur

Ernest Hemingway's preferred variation of the Daiquiri—double the rum, no sugar, added grapefruit and maraschino. He reportedly drank 16–20 of these in one sitting.

Ingredients

white rum 2 oz
lime juice 0.75 oz
grapefruit juice 0.5 oz
maraschino liqueur 0.5 oz

Instructions

Shake all ingredients with ice until well chilled. Double-strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a lime wheel or cherry (optional).
